As of lately, I have been really fascinated by GE's smart grid which is all about measuring energy use and educating people on how to be more green. Check out this smart meter which helps someone learn exactly how much energy they are consuming at all moments. This is P3's Kill-a-Watt. It's $20 and it can connect to any electronic devise. It helps calculate energy expenses by day, week, month and year. Another cool feature... you can tweet your power usage! I'm sold!
