Zero Emission Eunoia Project
Designer Thomas Tzortzi has started designing a new project that will hopefully revolutionize the travel industry. The Eunoia project is a zero emission update on the old school Zeppelin.
With the use of solar panels and helium to fill the blimp, no major construction of runways are needed, simply just hop on board, and float away!

Wall Mounted Laundry
Doesn't doing laundry just take up a lot of space in your place? I mean first, you have big hampers that take up space and then you have these bulky washer and dryers. Check out these new innovative ideas that helps consolidate the wasted space!
First, the picture above is called Polyp, which is a pop-off laundry basket designed by German designer Helene Steiner, that hangs on room walls. It has a modern design that is appealing to the eye and has a great function. Users can insert dirty clothing through the holes, and detach and carry the basket away when laundry needs to be done.
Now the picture below is called the Dismount Washer, which is designed by Lichen Guo. Laundry can be inserted into a portable container that latches onto an energy stick. Washing involves high-pressure steam while rotating the basket.

Recycled Clothing Art
Cuban-born artist Guerro De La Paz has created a series of sculpture art out of recycled clothing. "The message Guerro De La Paz conveys with their recycled clothing art is about the consume-and-discard nature of our mass-produced lifestyles. Our habits of consumption put us so very far away fromt he creation of the items we use- and just as far awar from the piles of trash they become." - (thecoolist.com)
Jelloware: Disposable, Edible Cups
Check out New York based consulting agency, "The Way We See The World"'s latest concept; Jelloware. It is a new spin on the disposable cup. This cup is actually made out of agar agar, which is a gelatin derived from algae, but is an ingredient used in desserts. Along with agar agar, there is added rosemary-beet and lemon-basil to complement whatever refreshment you choose. Also, once you are done with your drink, you can literally toss it on the grass and the agar agar nurtures the plants around.

iPhone DSLR mount
I know it's been a verrrrrryyyy long time since I have blogged here, but my life was getting really hectic! I finally graduated from UH! Also, I have been traveling around the eastern mediterranean and have been inspired by so many things. This has been a big motivator to get back to blogging, so... check this out!
This is a iPhone DSLR prototype mount. There has been a lot of talk about this type of idea and getting the most out of your iPhone camera. I think it is a really interesting concept, but why not just get a DSLR camera? Is it just so you can upload nicer "mobile album" pictures to facebook? Most might actually say yes...
CHEERS!!!!
